Last March 20, 2009, the Rotary Club of Hundred Islands signed a sisterhood agreement with Rotary Club of Manila at the Office of the City Mayor, City Hall, Alaminos City, Pangasinan.  The Rotary Club of Manila was represented by President-elect Ben Santos while the Rotary Club of Hundred Islands was represented by President Henry R. The project the sister clubs will undertake is a housing project for the relocation of informal settlers in Alaminos.  The City Government of Alaminos will provide the land where the houses will be built, the sister clubs will provide for the materials and labor in constructing the houses and Habitat for Humanity will share is technical know-how in constructing the low-cost housing.  The housing units will cost around P70,000.00 which will be paid in installment by the beneficiaries.
